Salty Dogs & Sea Tales includes two modules that you can add to your copy of Rolling Seas.  They can be used together or separately.

Salty Dogs adds the opportunity to hire crew members to your expedition, allowing you to gain special abilities and have more control of your adventures.  When you visit a port, after telling your story, upgrading your ship, and resupplying, you can now head to the local tavern to hire crew members. Pay their wages and they'll come work for you, bringing unique talents and helping you have the greatest adventure possible!

But be quick! You'll want to make your hires before your opponents. And a tavern brawl may clear everyone out.

Sea Tales adds exciting new events to Rolling Seas to give your adventures a real flourish!  You'll add several Event cards to your Adventure deck when you create it.  When they come up during play, you'll reveal a new Event that affects everyone. From festivals to volcanoes, exciting ship races to lost cities, you never know what you'll encounter next to help add an exciting chapter to your sea tale!
